If you’ve never experienced sunsets in Big Bend National Park, you should make a point to drive out there to explore. I’ve loved chasing west Texas clouds because they’re like no other when they expand over the vast open space. The inspiration photo for this painting was taken during an Artist’s Residency at Willow House.
