An Illinois native and professional photographer since 2018, Chrissy Mathey is drawn to the nostalgia and allure of the American West. With a background in Art Education, she initially photographed horses as painting references, but her passion for photography intensified when she encountered the cowboys and cowgirls who embody the vibrant western lifestyle. Through her creative imagery, she aims to capture and share the enduring spirit of the West, evoking joy and introducing others to the captivating world of cowboys.
