Whitney Gardner’s work directly reflects the region of the Mojave desert she calls home. Her landscapes evoke a silence and sense of place that could only be realized by someone intimately familiar with the terrain and its changing light. Gardner’s work has been published in Western Art Collector and Southwest Art magazines, her painting, “Ocotillo Sky,” received the Best of Show award at the 2019 Joshua Tree National Park Art Exposition, and her works to date reside in numerous private collections.
