Jesse Barrus, raised in Northern Utah, discovered solace in wild landscapes despite his suburban upbringing. With a natural affinity for art and creativity, he pursued graphic design but set aside fine art after a family tragedy. Encouraged by his wife, he rekindled his passion for painting, infusing traditional representative landscapes with vibrant interpretations. Inspired by the tranquility of the American West, Jesse seeks to convey a sense of peace through his art.
