Lucile Wedeking (b.1981) is a contemporary oil painter best-known for her interpretations of historical West Texas. Her work combines a modern dreamscape of color with imagery and stories pulled from extensive archival treasure hunts. Professionally trained at The Parsons School of Design in New York (BFA 2003), she currently resides outside of Stamford, Texas where she enjoys life ranching Brangus cattle with her family.
