Taryn Boals, a Wyoming-based artist, finds endless fascination in the American West. Drawing inspiration from the raw emotions, sweeping vistas, and wild personalities of turn-of-the-century Rocky Mountain pioneers, her work encapsulates resilience and a unique artistic style she calls “Live Edge.” Through expressionist angles and markmaking filled with futurist energy, Boals captures the essence of Western life with honesty and rawness. Her compositions, rooted in primitive and biological elements, reflect a profound connection to our ancestors and the unyielding flow of life.
