This painting depicts a nocturnal scene where a weary cowboy’s face glows from the dancing campfire light while his horse longs for the trail. The live edge Myrtle wood accents are 1.5 inches thick and the outer edge is routered. Each wood accent is meticulously chosen to flow in harmony with the painting. This reclaimed Myrtle wood is native to Southwestern Oregon and Northwestern California. The broad leaf evergreen wood is known to represent fertility and life.
