Leslie De Leon

Leslie De Leon graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis on painting and drawing. In 2021, she traveled 1,950 miles along the U.S/Mexico borderline to research its truth where she discovered the beauty of the Borderlands and began a series inspired by the American West through the lens of her American and Latino identity.
Today, De Leon is continuing a series of landscape and western paintings based in her Borderlands and American West.
