Carlos Nafri, originally from Visa Hermosa de Negrete Michoacán, lives and works in Sahuayo Michoacán, Mexico. Painter of Charrería and the wildlife, he focuses on the beauty and passion that exists in this Mexican sport and lifestyle He began his higher studies at the University of Guadalajara as a Bachelor of Administration to conclude in 2001, but is self-taught in the art of painting. He turned pro at the beginning of 2015, although his passion for drawing and painting has taken him from a very young age. He defines himself as a hyper-realistic painter in constant search of perfection. Carlos’ work has been the feature of solo exhibitions in Sahuayo and Jiquilpan in Michoacán; Tlajomulco and Arandas in Jalisco; Puebla, Puebla, Morelia Michoacán; and recently in the Gallery of the Club Puerta de Hierro in Zapopan Jalisco. He is the winner of the 2016 Autlan Taurino International Poster Competition.
