Andrea grew up in eastern Oregon, riding horses and drawing them, and team roping in her young adult years. She began creating fine art works around the time she started her family in 2013. She is married 10 years to Chance, who builds her frames and easel – both literally and figuratively, who lovingly encourages her art career. She lives in stephenville Texas where she homeschools their two young boys, surrounded by the country lifestyle and animals she loves to paint.
Statement
My work is inspired by the virtues and humbleness of horses and western life. I use acrylics to interpret the softness, strength, honesty and brilliance I find in my subjects, with a slightly whimsical, impressionistic style, allowing your imagination to fill in the smallest treasures of detail.
