More about Plains Pricklypear

“These blooming cactus were found off Piñon Juniper Vista trail in the White Mountains wilderness. I was at a fairly high elevation of 8000 feet so to see so many cacti I was a little surprised. It was great to see this cactus in full bloom and thriving. It had beautiful transitions of color – from the pink buds to the yellow flowers.” – Shae Reardon
