“This is the view from the trailhead of Lower Burro Mesa Pouroff. This is a nice 1 mile round trip hike that is relatively flat with volcanic hills with layers of yellow, white, and orange ash-flow tuffs. The trail ends at a 100 foot tall vertical channel carved into rock that funnels water from the mesa above.” – Alice Leese
