More about White River Wash
During the Pacific North West Plein Air event this past summer, I had a great time exploring Wy’East (Mt. Hood) and keeping relatively cool at the higher elevation. This wash is carved out of a volcanic pumice field. While it rages with torrents of water in the spring, it was calm and enchanting on a midsummer’s morning.
This is a plein air painting painted on location.
