After a long day on a dusty range an evening is always good after a good meal with some soothing guitar music. In the old west a long day of driving cattle would leave anyone tired and stiff. The tension of keeping track of the herd and working with your team can be very stressful and comforting tunes can make sleep come easily. This painting was awarded an Honorable Mention Award at the Texas Visual Art Association in Dallas.
