More about Panamint Beardtongue

“These flowers are really unique because they are only found within Eastern California and southwestern Nevada. They are called Panamint beardtongue after the ghost town Panamint near Death Valley. Not only is it a unique plant but it had such incredibly vibrant pink with greenish blue leafs. It was growing in canyon area right out of the sand. To see this flower in such harsh terrain and high temperatures was interesting to encounter.” – Shae Reardon
